These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SpoofIO website clone detection platform and related services (the “Service”) provided by NuSecuritas, LLC (“SpoofIO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

SpoofIO provides website clone detection and phishing protection. The Service monitors the internet for copies of websites you designate and alerts you when potential clones are detected. Detection results include forensic evidence such as screenshots, hosting details, and confidence scores.

We continuously improve the Service and may modify features, detection methods, or functionality at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect your use of the Service.

3. Accounts & Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately at security@spoofio.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • You may only monitor websites that you own or have explicit authorization to monitor.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing is listed on our website and may be updated with 30 days’ notice.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as described in the Free Trial section below.
  • If payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may suspend the Service until the balance is resolved.

5. Free Trial

New accounts include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. If you do not subscribe, your account will be downgraded and monitoring will stop.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to monitor websites you do not own or are not authorized to monitor.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties or create multiple free trial accounts.
  • Use detection results to harass, defame, or threaten any individual or entity.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, detection algorithms, and documentation, is the intellectual property of NuSecuritas, LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the websites you monitor and any content you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access and analyze your website content solely for the purpose of providing clone detection.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Service will detect every clone or phishing attempt. Clone detection is inherently probabilistic, and results include confidence scores to reflect this. SpoofIO is one layer of a comprehensive security strategy and should not be relied upon as the sole defense against phishing.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NUSECURITAS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NuSecuritas, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Detection data associated with your account will be deleted within 90 days.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
